Unseen Matters crafted a green living starter kit for DAYONE, designed to inspire eco-conscious habits from the very first step.

Starting fresh doesn’t require big declarations—just intentional choices. For this project, we developed a purposeful, ready-to-use “Green Living Essential Set,” designed to encourage sustainable habits from the very beginning.

A Kit Rooted in Everyday Consciousness

At the centre of the set is a plantable seed notebook and plantable seed pen, both designed to leave no waste behind. Once the pen runs out or the notebook is filled, each can be planted into soil, sprouting into life rather than ending in a bin. A symbolic gesture of continuity and renewal.

A bamboo fibre coffee mug accompanies the set, combining utility and durability in a sleek, branded design. This piece encourages reusable habits over disposables, adding function to a daily ritual.

To complement the seed items, we included a biodegradable coconut fibre pot, closing the loop between writing, planting, and nurturing. The elements are designed to interact—to evolve beyond their original purpose.

The packaging itself echoes the values inside. A recyclable craft box is paired with a custom-printed sleeve in DAYONE’s distinctive green. Inside, we replaced conventional fillers with honeycomb paper, adding texture and sustainability to the unboxing.

Completing the kit is a custom-printed tote bag, extending the experience beyond a single moment. Useful, reusable, and branded with intention, it keeps the message going long after the box is opened.

Every item in this kit was selected not just for utility, but for meaning. Together, they serve as subtle daily reminders that progress begins with small, repeatable actions. This isn’t a collection of gifts. It’s a conversation starter. A gentle nudge toward greener living.
